I have already passed the "2ème étoile" and I can skid my turns
I'm going to learn :
Linking basic parallel turns of either long or short radiuses.
To refine my turns reducing sideslipping (basic garland).
To master a good control of speed in "schuss" in all type of slopes (holes or bumps) and adapting one's skiing to the elements such as terrain, other skiers and different types of snow.
Test ESF : 3ème Etoile
The tests ESF "Etoile" are held on Fridays during the lessons.
Assessment :
On a moderate slope, link basic parallel turns through a course of 10 to 12 poles
Parallel garland on a moderate slope
Advanced straight running down a moderate slope, holding the tuck and ending with a skid to stop
